(but the music can be used in other kinds of games too!)

Made in FL Studio, Love & Terror Vol 01 features various music tracks fitting into the contrasting (but sometimes overlapping) themes of romance and horror.

Most tracks are loopable, but some have a defined end.

While largely instrumental, there are also some vocal tracks that I envisioned for use either on title screens/main menus or to play during the credits.

Each vocal theme also has a separate instrumental version.

(please note that vocals used come from vocal sample packs. While the arrangements may be unique, other music producers have access to the same vocal samples!)

You can read a summary here, but I'll try to break it down into simple bullet points too :3

!!! IMPORTANT NOTE !!!

If you wish to use a BGM in a commercial project at any point, please drop me an email:

I may be able to provide you with a more flexible license than the one listed above/explained below :3

What you CAN do

• Use the BGM tracks in your (non-commercial) project

(any project that you are not making money from)

• Make small alterations such as trimming the start/end of a track or changing the pitch/tempo

(any changes must be stated in the credits)

• Edit the file names to suit the naming conventions of your project

What you CAN'T do

• Use the BGM tracks in a commercial project

(anything you are selling/charging money for)

• Re-distribute, re-upload, or repackage the BGMs as they are

(the files MUST be used within a project, such as a video game)

[this means if you wish to upload your project's full soundtrack, you must not include my BGM tracks]

(HOWEVER, you may create a playlist on YouTube etc. and add the music videos I have uploaded to your soundtrack's playlist)

• Add your own copyright to any of the tracks

(I retain ownership of all of my music)

• Please do not feed my music to AI!

(you would not only be screwing me over but also every artist whose paid & licensed samples I have used in my music, and their terms of use also state as such)

• Claim the BGMs are yours or that you created them

What you MUST do

• Give proper credit/attribution when using any of the BGM tracks

(on your game page and credits documentation please state the following)

[my dev name, Melancholy Marionette, and a link to this page + my main dev page]

[the name of the BGM track used & (optionally) a link to the track on YouTube]

• State if you have made any changes to a BGM track & what the changes are

(such as altering the pitch/tempo, trimming the start/end, or creating a remix/cover of the original track)

• Provide a link to/copy of the license 

For example, when crediting, you can write the following:
