As some people were having trouble launching the original version of SR, I've made a much smaller version available which has been heavily compressed, in the hope that it will run for anyone who was having issues :3

I've been told that a lot of the problems launching games made with Tyranobuilder are down to lack of memory on a device, as the game loads everything on startup. This can apparently cause insanely long launch times on lower-spec systems, and for some, it won't launch at all >.< 

This smaller version contains all the same content of the larger version. I thought I was going to have to delete video files and the extras section, but in the end, I was able to leave them in. All images, videos, BGM, and SFX have been compressed. 

Main differences in the smaller version:

• Smaller size should mean faster launch/startup time (however, it still takes my old laptop 2 minutes to launch from first pressing the exe to a game window opening.)
  
  
• Video quality is significantly worse than the original larger version (however, there are not many videos in the game, and they are short, aside from the OP vid.)
  
  
• Q&A audio quality in the extras section is significantly worse than in the original larger version.
  
  
• BGM & SFX quality is slightly reduced in comparison to the original larger version (however, it's not overly noticeable.)
  
  
• Although reduced in size, image quality of backgrounds and sprites appears the same to me as the original larger version.

In regards to the mac version, I have no idea if it works, as I do not own a mac to test it on :( I was able to use the automatic export function on Tyrano, so technically, it should be fine, as TB does all the work in creating the correct files. The only reason I'm a bit wary is that when I've used the auto-export function on TB in the past to make a mac demo of SR, people said it didn't work >.<" Please let me know if that's the case this time, and I'll remake it doing a manual export instead!

If you were one of the unfortunate people who couldn't get the game to work before, please let me know if this smaller version runs for you :3 That way, I can get closer to determining if it really is just a memory problem, or if there's some other issue with Tyranobuilder that I need to put to the folk who made it. Cheers!

Also, I am still working on a browser version to see if that will be playable for those who can't run the downloadable version. It's pretty much the same as the new smaller downloadable version and is ready to be tested, but even though it meets the size requirement for max 1GB to be uploaded here on itch.io, it has more files than the limit of 3000 (it contains 5000 and something so there's nothing I can do to lessen that.) I'm just waiting to hear back from itch.io regarding this.
