A big chunk of progress in time for Christmas!

Well, it's Christmas eve and will soon be the end of the year too!

I've managed to make a decent chunk of progress since the last post, I finally finished adding every single sprite/emotion to the game :D Doesn't sound particularly exciting I know but it's a huge job out of the way that took me a very long time to complete, haha.

Now all that's left is adding the remaining voice lines and sound effects which should be much faster than placing all the sprites. Then testing and it'll be done :3 

I didn't think I was even gonna get to work on it during December but I managed to get a fair few days where I could work 3 hours at a time.

Won't be able to do any more work this year as I'm spending Christmas and new year with my family and my laptop can't handle Tyrano running any more, just lags like crazy xD Hopefully I'll be able to start up again sometime in January but I don't know exactly when I'm moving house other than one day in January and that's gonna take some time to get set up again after the move >.<

Anyways, in one way I'm pretty annoyed I still haven't finished the darn thing completely cos if life hadn't got in the way it would've been released ages ago, but in another way I'm happy that I've made a big leap of progress by the end of the year :3

Yeah, I'll take any progress over nothing cos at least it's going somewhere xD I should be able to get stuck in again once the house move is finally sorted and we're settled in there! With any luck it actually will be finished this year, haha. 

To be honest, I probably won't even take a break when I finish SR xD Cos it already feels like I'm taking forced breaks all the time with having to stop working on it in order to try and make enough money to survive on >.< I reckon I'll get straight on to finishing Clarity in Qualia after SR but will probably make it shorter than I had initially planned because ideally I wanna work on other idea that I hope to release for a small amount rather than free. When I say small I'm talking like just £1 xD

I've got a whole bunch of ideas for stuff I wanna make but it'd be bad to try starting em all at the same time so I'll try and work on one project at a time. I doubt anyone would really wanna pay for stuff I make but the problem is that I can't make stuff for free forever cos I'm already struggling to make enough to eat as it is and while I'm working on projects it's taking away from time I could be using to make money >.< It sucks that life is like that! In an ideal world I'd just like to make stuff as a proper job, but without qualifications etc. no one would hire me :( On top of that, when people help me out with stuff like voice acting, I feel awful that I can't pay them for the awesome work they've done.

Because my art skills suck I've had to buy character generators and background packs just to make SR cos free resources only get you so far. I reckon I've spent well over £500 on resources to help me make SR and I'm getting nothing back for it whatsoever, haha. Don't feel as though I'd have the right to charge anyone for something I've made when I'm just a random unknown solo indie dev anyhow! xD

I know that crowd funding is a possible option to help make stuff, but I don't really use social media so I have no idea how I would even go about attempting to gather support from people >.< 

Sorry for rambling anyhow! x3 I hope 2020 is off to a great start for ya ^-^
