Well, it's been quite a while since I posted an update again xD I'm so terrible at this, haha. There just wasn't much in the way of progress to report! I was writing a little bit for Elil's route most days, but then I kind of got distracted in October by all the Halloween-themed jams that were about x3 I really missed not being able to visit scare attractions this year due to the virus, so I decided to make a short horror game for Scream Jam 2020.

So yeah, Impostor kinda took priority for a while since the jam deadline was so tight. I tried to work on CiQ stuff alongside Impostor stuff at the beginning of the jam, but I soon came to realise that I wouldn't be able to submit a game in time for the end of the jam if I carried on that way, so I switched 100% focus to finishing Impostor. Once the deadline arrived I thought I might get back to CiQ, but instead, I made it my mission to play, rate, and comment on every single game submitted to the jam so that no one would leave the jam without at least one positive comment :3 That kinda took up pretty much all of my time for a week xD Playing everyone's spooky games helped me get through the sadness of missing scare mazes though ^-^

After that, I got straight back to writing for El's route, which I finally finished the draft for earlier today :3 It wound up coming out at just over 27k words, which is a bit longer than Alvy and Sio's, but it's okay cos I have stuff I wanna go back and add to their routes anyhow that will make them all pretty even again!

Before the October jam stuff, the final cast for CiQ was decided \^_^/ I'm super excited to introduce them, but it will have to wait for now. Anthony found a wonderful video editor that we've teamed up with, and we're in the middle of creating some vids which we will use to announce the voice actors when they're ready :3 Our artist is working on the new sprite art, which is beautiful, and will also be revealed in the vids :D Alongside writing, I'm also working on building the new version of the demo still + creating the otome version of the demo too!

My mental health is still up and down as usual, and here in England we've entered lockdown yet again >.< I hope that wherever you are in the world you're still managing to stay safe + doing okay! Remember that you are awesome <3
