From Apartment 9 to Solipsism Reigns (my personal favourite) your games amaze me like no other. I can see the passion and dedication in all of them. I have never found someone encapsulate the Yandere trope so well! I swear I fall in love with all your characters. I really hope you do the rest of the the Yandere Heaven series because volume 5 (the twins) is my favorite! Will definitely be donating for a hopeful continuation! Lots of thank you's to the game dev and the amazing team. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next. Keep up the amazing work.
Aww, that's so sweet of you to say and I'm super glad you've enjoyed them ^-^ A part of me is pretty surprised that you'd consider SR to be your favourite :o I always just assume that because it's the first one I made, people might think it doesn't compare to my more recent projects since I've switched engines + learned a lot in general. It's nice to know SR can hold it's own compared to my newer stuff :3 I wish I could clone myself so I could work on the SR remake faster, haha.
And it really means a lot to me that you think I do the yandere trope justice :3 That was my main mission when I first started out trying to make games x3 I just wanted to make more male yandere characters, haha. And now I just wanna birth yanderes of all sorts xD Speaking of which, I don't know if you've played Limbo Line yet, but there's a platonic yandere in there (since it's my only game without romance) if you're interested :P
It'll probably take me a loooong time since I need to focus on DD, but I sure hope I get around to eventually making all the YH volumes eventually :3 I can't even remember which was my favourite cos it's been so long since I listened to them all >.< but I know for sure it wasn't volume 01, haha. I've never been a fan of shota-type characters like Kakeru with a sister complex x3 Though, I have to admit, Anthony's performance for the character in this fandub version did win me over to the point that I was cheering on Kakeru over Atsushi xD Whereas in the original, I just couldn't stand Kakeru >.<
Thank you so much for all your kind words + support :3
Such a fun visual novel! I admire the voice actors playing the role, as of now I'm just at Kasumi and Aoi's part but I'm seriously amazed at how they were able to portray multiple emotions just from their voices! Gold star!
Yeah, I owe a lot to everyone who volunteered their time and talent to bring the characters to life :3 It wouldn't be the same without them! Especially considering it's a fandub of a series that's originally audio-only. It would just have been weird and wrong for it not to have voice acting >.<
Really cool, It was like a breath of fresh air xD loved the VA and story. I like how it kept a sweet vibe and didn't forget what yandere and everything is actually about. The ending was kinda surprising :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it :3 For quite a while I didn't think I was gonna manage to get it all done in time, haha. Had to go into super crazy jam mode where everything else in my life, like exercise, eating properly, and sleep all just sorta got ignored >.<
I can't take credit for the story though since I essentially just localised the original version x3 It's not my favourite volume of the 6 in the series, but it would have irritated me too much to begin with a volume that wasn't the first one xD
You did a good job regardless :) I hope you went back taking care to eat and all tho xD as a writer I can understand what you mean tbh. Sometimes you want to leave to a mountain and just work on your stuff once and for all 😂
You'll get to that one too. Sometimes you want to eat the cherry before the cake xDD
Well, I'm exercising again + eating properly, buuuuut, I still haven't quite nailed the whole sleep thing yet xD I accidentally stayed up until almost 6am earlier in the week working on a track for DD, haha. I told myself I should go to bed no later than 3am, but 3am came and went x3 I've been paying for it since though cos no matter how late I go to bed, I always make sure to set an alarm no later than 10am because I don't wanna sleep in too much, haha. Think I might have an early night tonight though to try and get ready for the week ahead!
Yeah, that's pretty much how I end up getting, haha. And then before I know it, I've neglected everything other than my projects >.< I'm not great at juggling x3 I try my best, but usually fail, haha.
Funnily enough, if a cake does have a cherry on it (or any topping really) I always eat that first before touching the cake itself xD
That's still a step :) After 1 am the time almost flies tbh, you're either tired or busy with something (and if it interests you then it passed even faster). The problem is that the night is beautiful too and we gotta sleep at some point :") I get what you mean with putting the alarm, I also do that xD but it's usually a 9 or 8 am one.
Some things are just kinda hard to do especially if they are not something you are used to doing. Maybe a schedule could help?
That's nice :)) I usually TRY but fail not to eat the cake. Or too much of it. If I could switch I'd just eat sweet stuff all my life
Doing pretty okay, thank you :) will have to wake up early and fight these weeks until I get used to what's to come xD Hope you had a good day :3
It really does x3 Time keeps vanishing during the day as well lately T_T haha. I eventually stop for a break to exercise and grab something to eat, and then realise I've hardly achieved anything in like 4 hours >.< then I get annoyed at myself, but then another part of me steps in and says, why are you beating yourself up about this?! You're literally creating stress for yourself out of nowhere, for no reason, ya big dummy, haha.
Summer is my most hated season, and the fact that the nights are shorter is just one of them, haha. I cannot stand the fact that it starts to get light as I'm heading to sleep because I can't sleep properly when it's light, but I also don't want to go to bed before sunrise half the time in Summer cos I'm still trying to do stuff xD
I do have a sort of daily schedule that I like to stick to and get a little stressed out with if things don't go according to plan, but the big problem is, things don't go according to plan most days x3
Haha, aww :3 I just like eating in general if I'm honest xD But I'm also incredibly paranoid about consuming too much because I used to be pretty overweight and managed to lose it all, so my life is a constant battle between wanting to eat something tasty and not wanting to put weight on x3 I try to sort of cheat by making sure I only eat healthy and nutritious stuff for breakfast/lunch + do some form of exercise every day, and then I can just about manage to get away with having a tastier meal for dinner + some form of small dessert, haha.
Well, I hope you manage to get many a good snooze + plenty of even greater days ahead :D
Thanks so much for playing! Glad you had fun with it :D I laughed out loud at the bit in the video where you had to choose and you were like, "This is a tough decision cos both of them are terrible!" And I was just sat there nodding my head in agreement xD Yes. Yes they are, haha.
This game is so amazing. I love the artwork as well as the color schemes. Everything looks so pretty in the game. I actually had my computer on mute while playing and didn't know there was voice acting so i'll have to play again to hear it. Gonna def check out more of your games if you have any more!
None of the artwork was drawn by me cos I can't draw to save my life, but I do always try my best to edit the assets I own in interesting ways to make them unique to my projects, and I had a lot of fun making the whole rose-tinted colour scheme :3
Oh no xD haha. Ahh, well, I hope you enjoy the voice acting! I think it really brings the characters to life :3 All of my games are fully voice acted thanks to various wonderful VAs out there who were willing to volunteer their time and talent to help out with my projects.
I have a fair few games out now :3 Most of em aren't all that long besides Solipsism Reigns which is a full-length VN. That only has GxB at the moment though, and since I don't know your preferences, I have no idea whether you'd be interested in that one or not, haha. It's also my oldest project so it's far less flashy than my more recent ones cos I was a noob at making stuff back when I made it x3
If you're into yandere characters though, they all have at least 1 yandere in them :D
Clarity in Qualia - The demo is really old, I would advise against playing it because I have a new demo for it unreleased + the project is on hold due to lack of interest.
Limbo Line - Psychological Horror/Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Mystery (I would recommend this one the most :3) (Named Gender-Neutral Player x Various Characters - No romance but there's a platonic yandere in it :P) https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/limbo-line
I'm glad you liked it :D Thanks for playing and commenting :3
Sadly, it would be too difficult to give different stories because this game is a localised fandub of a Japanese audio drama CD. In the original, there is only Atsushi & Kakeru as characters because the CD series was aimed at a female listener audience, but since I was turning it into a VN, I just wanted to try and be more inclusive by adding pronoun options + giving the player the choice of interacting with guys or girls.
In the other volumes, each volume has a brand new pair of characters with a completely different story. So if I ever manage to release the remaining volumes, there will be different pairs of characters to choose from with different stories :3
Unfortunately, I probably won't be adding choice stuff to any of the future volumes of this project just because I don't really way to stray into it becoming fanfiction when my original intention was to create a faithful localisation of the original :3 And since the original is just an audio CD, there aren't any choices at all besides choosing which final track you want to listen to for the character you end up with.
All my other games are original stories with original characters, so those will continue to have plenty of choices in them :3 But for this project in particular, because it's just a fandub, I don't really wanna mess around with someone else's story and characters by adding too much stuff that wasn't in the original work x3
I'm on mac and whenever I try to launch the game it just gives me a popup saying that "You do not have permission to open the application contact your computer or network administrator for assistance"
Yeah, unfortunately, there are a lot of problems with playing indie games on macs :( I don't own a mac myself, but I've compiled a list of solutions over time with contributions from mac users who have found ways to get the games to open :3 Actually, one user in the comments below recently posted what worked for them.
User benevolent-beaver said:
"Heya, I'm on a Mac too and used to have a similar problem for a lot of games I find on itch.io. You can either:
1: Download the itch.io App (https://itch.io/app) and download the game through there instead of through the site, it should open properly
OR 2: Follow these steps
- Open the folder the game's in, right click on the game and select "Open Package Contents", then click Contents, click MacOS, you should see a file called "Yandere Heaven"
- Open Terminal, write the following command:
chmod u+x
(make sure there's a space after x)
then drag the "Yandere Heaven" file and drop it onto the Terminal window, then press Enter. The file's icon should change. Then try opening the game again."
That's brilliant! Thanks for letting me know :3 I did add benevolent-beaver'comment to the little mac post, I guess I could bump it towards the top though as one of the first things for people to try.
Thank you for checking the game out ^-^ I don't know if any of my other VNs would be your cup of tea, but all of them feature at least 1 yandere character, sometimes more :D
This VN is absolutely amazing, I had a really fun time playing it , as I am writing this I am still amazed someone managed to make a game of such high quality and voiced in such a short time, you people are really talented.
Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it ^-^ I do tend to work crazy hours during game jams, haha. I don't have a job due to my crappy mental health, so I can afford to spend like 12+ hours a day working on projects like a crazy lady xD Even though it's my hobby to make stuff like this, I do also treat it as my job :3
It wouldn't have been possible to get all the voice acting in there in such a short space of time without the help of my good friend Anthony though :3 Not only did he voice one of the characters, but he also directed + helped me find a cast in a few of the days where I was away from home and couldn't work on the project!
AAA THIS IS AMAZING!!! ( 〃▽〃) Yandere Heaven was probably the first Audio CD I've listened to (and possibly the reason why I'm into yanderes ¯▿¯) The fandub is absolutely perfect and I love how you make it for everyone! I love the art style and the comic-like style to it! I do wish to see more of the volumes! ( ´ ω ` )
[Side Note: I just realized you were the same creator as Darling Duality and Solipsism Reigns. I'm glad to find another person who likes yanderes as much as I do! \(^ヮ^)/]
I just re-listened to the Yandere Heaven CDs and.. oh dear. It seems that MC will always have a doomed fate. (T▽T) Some of the CDs also have an interesting theme of brothers (blood-related or not) '_'
Haha xD Ahh, man, I need to give the whole series another listen when I have time cos it's been so long! And other series' too x3 I need to make an effort to go to bed earlier so I can just chill and listen to that sorta stuff rather than staying up until stupid o' clock every night working on project stuff, haha.
Oh, gosh, that means so much that you liked it as a fan of the original CD ^-^ I figured most people who come across this project probably won't have heard the original CDs since they're oreyyu old and kinda obscure x3 So it's just awesome to hear that you're a fan and you still like my version cos I was worried I wouldn't be able to do the original justice, or I'd mess it up in some way, haha. I tried to stick as close as possible to the original version :3
It was one of the first drama CDs I listened to as well! I just can't remember if it was the very first, or if my very first would have been one of the Diabolik Lovers ones x3 But I just had this vision in my head for how Yandere Heaven would look as a game base on the vibes I got from it as a CD.
But yeah, I wanted to try and be inclusive with it as well :3 I feel like the girls side has a bit of a different flavour to the guys side somehow, haha. And I achieved my goal of learning something new with every jam by adding pronoun options :3 And now I know how to do that, I can add them in my future projects too :D
Hehe, yeah, I'm very much into yandere characters x3 From the moment I found out they were a thing while playing otome games, I've been obsessed with them since, haha. Now it's my mission to just keep adding more of them to the universe xD
I certainly hope to at least give the remaining volumes the same treatment at some point :3 To be honest, there are loooooads of Japanese drama CDs I'd love to localise and VNify, haha. With my main project being Darling Duality though, I won't be working too much on the rest of Yandere Heaven now that yandere jam is over, and I might have to make future volumes Patron/Kofi supporter exclusives or something just because it wouldn't be fair to keep asking voice actors to help me out for free when they deserve to be paid properly for their time and talent.
I'm really glad you enjoyed volume 1 anyhow ^-^ it was a lot of fun to make! Thanks for playing + taking the time to comment :D
This is a good game, but I have some questions involving the story. So like what's the deal with Aoi's parents? Are they aware of their daughter's true nature, and if so, why haven't they tried to stop her? Like are they in full support? Did she get her yandereness from one of her parents? Did she kill her parents to get them out of the way? Do her parents just not care? I hope these questions can be answered.
Unfortunately though, any answers I give to your questions would be guesswork really, as unlike my other projects which are all original stories that I've written featuring original characters, this project in particular is actually just a fandub of an old Japanese audio drama CD series, so the story and characters aren't mine, I just localised the scenario and turned it into a VN :(
I listened to all of the CDs many years ago, and I've wanted to make a fandub for a while, so yandere jam was the perfect opportunity for me to localise the scripts and make it into a VN :3
I wanted to stay as true to the original story + characters as possible. I'd love to be able to tell you that answers to your questions arrive in the other volumes, but sadly, each volume is a completely different story/scenario with brand new characters x3
I will say that all of the scenarios in the series have moments and characters that are pretty farfetched and unbelievable, haha. Such as the fact that neither Atsushi/Aoi or Kakeru/Kasumi's parents seem to have even the slightest idea of what's going on! All the characters' behaviour escalates so quickly since they're only short CDs, and they all get away with behaving like lunatics, seemingly without any sort of repercussions! There are plot holes aplenty x3 But I still found the series to be a lot of fun when not taken too seriously.
Even though I can't say what the original writer would have had in mind, personally, I'd say that Kakeru/Kasumi's dad is just kinda the rich asshole type who throws money at his kids instead of actually being there for them as a father x3 more focused on his relationship with his new partner than making sure the kids are okay. And then I reckon Atsushi/Aoi is probably the kinda kid who didn't have the greatest upbringing, probably experienced some form abuse from their parents and either left home at a young age by choice to get away, or was kicked out and forced to go it alone. I just get that sorta impression from their character that they essentially don't even have parents and are perfectly capable of surviving on their own cos they've had to learn to grow up fast sorta thing! I have no idea what sort of ages the characters are though cos I don't know much about the Japanese school system >.< I kinda love the idea that a character could get their yandere-ness from one of their parents though! I feel like that's something which should be explored more in character backstories :D
I agree! Now, this is entirely up to you, but you said that you already somewhat altered the original narrative anyway, so maybe you can fill in the plotholes either yourself or with the help of some other people. Although I understand if you don't want to do that.
I only really made the tiniest of tweaks though, like in the original CD, Kakeru refers to the listener as "sis" a hell of a lot x3 Which I know is fairly normal for Japanese stuff, but it just wouldn't work in my version where I let players pick pronouns, and I've never been a fan of that creepy sorta stepsibling romance trope either, so I used the opportunity to just change him referring to the player as sleepy, or by their chosen pronouns instead, haha.
And then there's the scene where they have their little fight. In the original CD, the jump to the next track/scene is really quite jarring, and since the listener would go on to choose who they ended up with by deciding which final track to play, I figured I'd put the choice in-game directly after the fight scene and write some accompanying original dialogue for their reactions on who you side with. It would've seemed a bit strange to make the player choose someone and then just move on without a word, haha.
That's about it though for what I tweaked :3 The rest is all true to the original.
It certainly would be fun to play with it all a bit more, but yeah, I don't feel all that comfortable writing too much content for characters that aren't mine >.< So I'll probably just stick to localising without messing with the story too much. I don't really have the time to dedicate to adding original writing to YH either cos I need to make progress with DD since it's been far too long. I promised myself and anyone following the project that once Yandere Jam was over, I wouldn't participate in any jams or work projects other than DD until Spooktober Jam rolls around in September x3 cos DD has been on the sidelines for waaaay too long.
It's pretty old now I think! I can't even remember how I came across it back in the day. Something tells me it was a 2010 release, but I'm not 100% sure on that without looking it up. It's actually an audio drama CD series :3
I wanted to make an audio-only fandub for quite a while, but I figured I might as well go one further and make it into a VN as well, haha. Especially since I had a pretty clear idea in my head of how I wanted it to look :D
Hey hey! Sorry to hear that >.< Mac is always really awkward, unfortunately :( It's possible there's a problem because I renamed one of the files after export, so I've just reuploaded the Mac version with the original file name it came out with upon export. You can try downloading again to see if that makes any difference, but it probably won't T_T
It's posted on one of my other games, but the info there applies to all of my games. It's a mixture of tips other Mac users have told me about once they've managed to get my games working + some general stuff I found when I searched online a while back :3
Hopefully, something on there will help you! Unfortunately, I don't own a Mac or know anyone who does, so I have no way of testing Mac builds myself. From what I understand though, the main reason my stuff doesn't open on Mac without fiddling with things is cos of the extra security that Mac devices have. I've been told it's because a lot of indie games get blocked by the security because they're unsigned or something >.<
Heya, I'm on a Mac too and used to have a similar problem for a lot of games I find on itch.io.
Then try opening the game again.
Awesome stuff! I'm super glad to hear that :3 It always worries me if there are problems on mac and linux cos I want to be able to help, but it's hard when I don't have the systems to test on >.< And it would just really suck if folks couldn't access the stuff I'm putting out there when I've worked so hard on it, haha.
Hey Melancholy you remember me right? I wanted to say this your yandere games is super great and I hope that you will continue this project to Vol. 6 because I love the story and the art style I hope Manly would play this please release Vol.2 I am beggin' ya that's all thanks.
PS: When I am playing this all the yandere scenes make my heart pound...hee hee
I do :D And aww, that's so sweet of you to take the time to say so :3 I'll certainly try my best to eventually have all of these VNified! It'll probably take a while though since I really need to focus on DD now that I'm back working on stuff again.
It certainly would be cool if Manly ended up playing this too :3 I just hope he wouldn't end up running into any of the bugs that are in there cos I know there are a few that I can't fix >.< haha.
Wait... what? :o A Nintendo?! That reminds me actually, I really need to try and figure out how to get my games working on Switch x3 I haven't had much luck getting them to work on much other than Windows (and sometimes Mac). I have no idea if my Linux builds even work >.< And the one time I tried an Android export it just threw up so many errors I just looked at my screen like this O.O and gave up, haha
Aww, thanks so much for playing + your kind words ^-^ I really hope I get to give the remaining volumes the same treatment at some point! To be honest, there are a hell of a lot more Japanese drama CD series' I'd love to adapt if I could, haha.
Thank YOU for your comment and enthusiasm ^-^ Hopefully you didn't run into any nasty bugs if you played it already >.< I know there are some small ones + typos in there that I haven't a had a chance to fix yet cos I've been away! Hopefully I can get a fix update out tomorrow sometime :3
Woo! I'm glad you ended up enjoying it :3 It was a manic 15 days trying to get it all finished in time for the end of the jam, haha. Hopefully you didn't encounter too many bugs >.< I know there are a few + typos to fix, but I was away with my dad on a long weekend trip, so hopefully I'll be able to get a fix update out sometime tomorrow!
Is there only one volume? I wanted to keep playing because it was a really good game. But if they haven't been released I shall wait patiently with excitement
At the moment, yeah :3 I certainly hope to give the remaining volumes the same treatment sometime in the future, but I knew I only had 7-15 days to make something for this jam, so I had to keep the scope pretty small in order to get something submitted in time, haha. I figured I could just about finish 1 volume in time if I really worked my ass off x3
DD is my main project though, so if I do end up localising and VNifying the remaining volumes, it'll be as a side project, and possibly only for Patreon/Kofi supporters as the voice actors will need payment for their time and talent, and I don't have the funds to be able to afford that myself.
I'm glad you enjoyed the volume I managed to release though :3 Thanks so much for playing + taking the time to comment!
Very fun game as always! ^^ You did such amazing work with all the VAs, the little details in the name boxes, the UI and all the sfx, already can't wait for future volumes >.<
Hopefully you don't encounter any of the little bugs that a couple of my friends have discovered x3 There are a handful of typos in there too T_T I only just got back home, so hopefully, I'll have time to fix stuff and update the game tomorrow at some point :3
Hopefully you enjoyed it if you ended up playing it already! I know there are a few bugs and typos in there that need fixing though x3 I just haven't been able to get to them yet cos I only just got home from a long weekend away with my pops! With any luck, I'll get a little fix update out sometime tomorrow :3
In that case, I'd say definitely wait until I can get my update out with the fixes in x3 Just cos there's 1 typo in particular that's really bugging me cos I can't believe I missed it, haha. And a couple of other tweaks I want to make. I mean, the plan is to have it uploaded by the end of tomorrow, but I can't say for sure now if that's gonna happen because I just found out I might have to travel into town to sort something out >.< and that'll eat a good few hours out of my day if it turns out I do have to do that :(
It's ready now :3 I'm really hoping I didn't manage to randomly break stuff while fixing other stuff, haha >.< There are still a few bugs in there that I don't know how to fix though :(

Hope you're doing okay yourself :3
I'm glad you enjoyed it :D Thanks for playing ^-^
Solipsism Reigns - Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Horror/Romance
(Nameable Female MC x Male LI)
https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/solipsism-reigns
Clarity in Qualia - The demo is really old, I would advise against playing it because I have a new demo for it unreleased + the project is on hold due to lack of interest.
Impostor - Psychological Horror
Gender-Neutral Player x Male or Female Partner
https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/impostor
Love in Lockdown - Sci-Fi/Slice of Life/Romance (My most hated project because it didn't come out close to how I wanted it to turn out xD)
Gender-Neutral Player x Male or Female Android
https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/love-in-lockdown-ella-version + https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/love-in-lockdown-eli-version
Apartment No.9 - Slice of life/Psychological Horror/Romance
(Named Male or Female MC x Male or Female LI)
https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/apartment-no9-bxg-version + https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/apartment-no9
Limbo Line - Psychological Horror/Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Mystery (I would recommend this one the most :3)
(Named Gender-Neutral Player x Various Characters - No romance but there's a platonic yandere in it :P)
https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/limbo-line
I absolutely adore this game! I wish there were different storylines between the male and female yanderes.
That's fair. If it's possible, the ability to make more decisions in the potential remaining volumes would be cool too. Thank you for replying!
No problem ^-^ Thank YOU for playing :D
I'm on mac and whenever I try to launch the game it just gives me a popup saying that "You do not have permission to open the application contact your computer or network administrator for assistance"
do you know how to fix this? thanks
If that doesn't work for you, you can try checking out the other possible solutions here: https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/darling-duality-winter-wish/devlog/227880/...
Hope at least one of them works for you :3
it worked thank you!!! im looking forward to playing the game
That's brilliant! Thanks for letting me know :3 I did add benevolent-beaver'comment to the little mac post, I guess I could bump it towards the top though as one of the first things for people to try.
Hope you end up enjoying it ^-^
I love yandere characters, and i love vn, and finnaly i can play a vn about yanderes!
TYSM!
Thank you for checking the game out ^-^ I don't know if any of my other VNs would be your cup of tea, but all of them feature at least 1 yandere character, sometimes more :D
Keep the good work!
Thanks for all your kind words ^-^
I love the game, will you make a full version? ^^
You are awsome :0
I'm glad you liked it :3
Unfortunately though, any answers I give to your questions would be guesswork really, as unlike my other projects which are all original stories that I've written featuring original characters, this project in particular is actually just a fandub of an old Japanese audio drama CD series, so the story and characters aren't mine, I just localised the scenario and turned it into a VN :(
You can find the official page for the original Japanese version here if you wanna take a peek :3 http://www.hobirecords.com/yandere/
Sorry I can't be more helpful >.<
I had a feeling that might be the kinda answer you might give, but thanx anyway!
I've never heard of the original VN but I really enjoyed this! I really dig the art style especially.
This is the official page for the original series if you wanted to take a peek! http://www.hobirecords.com/yandere/
I'm glad you enjoyed it anyhow! Thanks so much for taking the time to play and comment :3
Hi, I'm wasn't able to open the game once I downloaded it(mac). It give me an alert saying the application cant be opened.
Here's a big list of help I've compiled for Mac users: https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/darling-duality-winter-wish/devlog/227880/...
Then try opening the game again.
Thanks so much for taking the time to post this :3 I'll add it to the help post once I'm back on my PC again later!
I've got it working thank you both so much:)
Hope you end up enjoying it :3
Hey Melancholy you remember me right?
And woo! Heart pounding is awesome :D
right now typing this on a nintndo great game tho
Wait...
This is way too good, especially considering this is a free game. I really do hope the later volumes are adapted.
Aww, thanks so much for playing + your kind words ^-^ I really hope I get to give the remaining volumes the same treatment at some point! To be honest, there are a hell of a lot more Japanese drama CD series' I'd love to adapt if I could, haha.
I am very excited , THANK YOU <3
Thank YOU for your comment and enthusiasm ^-^ Hopefully you didn't run into any nasty bugs if you played it already >.< I know there are some small ones + typos in there that I haven't a had a chance to fix yet cos I've been away! Hopefully I can get a fix update out tomorrow sometime :3
Haha, yeeeeah, I'm pretty much the same xD I do love me some yandere goodness ^-^
Uwa~ I instantly clicked on it seeing the title xD I was hooked and enjoyed this one <3
Thanks for playing :D
I still need to play youuuuurs!!! I bet it's gonna be aweeeesoooome ^-^
*screamig internally* I'll play this tonight. I'll be back and update this comment when I am done with it!
Hopefully you don't encounter any of the little bugs that a couple of my friends have discovered x3 There are a handful of typos in there too T_T I only just got back home, so hopefully, I'll have time to fix stuff and update the game tomorrow at some point :3
.w.
I'll be downloading it tonight lol
Hopefully you enjoyed it if you ended up playing it already! I know there are a few bugs and typos in there that need fixing though x3 I just haven't been able to get to them yet cos I only just got home from a long weekend away with my pops! With any luck, I'll get a little fix update out sometime tomorrow :3
Haven't had the chance to play it but I'm hoping to have time soon! I'm hoptto stream it like I did with darling duality!
In that case, I'd say definitely wait until I can get my update out with the fixes in x3 Just cos there's 1 typo in particular that's really bugging me cos I can't believe I missed it, haha. And a couple of other tweaks I want to make. I mean, the plan is to have it uploaded by the end of tomorrow, but I can't say for sure now if that's gonna happen because I just found out I might have to travel into town to sort something out >.< and that'll eat a good few hours out of my day if it turns out I do have to do that :(
Word let me know when it's ready!
It's ready now :3 I'm really hoping I didn't manage to randomly break stuff while fixing other stuff, haha >.< There are still a few bugs in there that I don't know how to fix though :(
